Salome Santos
Salome Santos was born and raised in Ecuador and came to the United States in 1989 as a student. She had alwys wanted to tell others about the magnficence of her country's richness in handmade arts and crafts. Salome wanted to introduce the products from Ecuador to the USA to enrich other's lives with her knowledge. She focused on natural, eco-friendly, and fair trade products. This led to the opening of Tribu, a small family-owned business dedicated to providing customers with high quality, Fair Trade products.

Takara Chim
Takara is a fair trade advocate who strives to contribute to the sustainable fashion movement. Her focus is to the recycling/upcycling of clothing in a circular economy to deter them from going into landfill. She believes our wardrobe should be treasured, keeping high quality pieces to last a long time. Takara is the owner of PAED Shop, a preloved + recycled fashion eCommerce shop in her hometown in Long Beach.
