Long Beach Grocery Cooperative is a member-owned and operated consumer cooperative that is committed to providing the community with affordable, high quality, wholesome foods and products for healthy living. The co-op is committed to supporting local agriculture and artisans and fair trade, educating our community on benefits of healthy eating, and using sustainable practices.

South Coast Interfaith Council

The SCIC is the oldest and largest interfaith council in Southern California. In 1953 the council was first established as an ecumenical council – meaning that it was an organization comprised of only churches representing the various denominations of the Christian faith. But in 2004, with a historical vote made by the community, the council changed from ecumenical one to an interfaith council. The SCIC now has an association of more than 140 faith communities and organizations, encompassing over 35 cities and serving approximately 1.8 million people.

Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force

The Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force is a multidisciplinary, survivor-centered, collaborative community effort by law enforcement agencies and community based organizations to combat human trafficking by identifying, rescuing and empowering survivors and assisting in the prosecution of traffickers.
